Patricia Barone lives along the Mississippi River in Minnesota and feels very lucky to have been a part of the thriving Twin Cities writing community for over four decades. With Future Rounds the Curve, Barone is publishing her sixth book.

Carol Rucks published her first collection of poetry, Evidence of Rain, which was nominated for a Minnesota Book Award, with Nodin Press in 2014. Her second poetry collection, Wavelength, was published this year by Kelsay Books.

Her poems have appeared in “Abraxas,” “Energy Review,” “Colere,” “West Branch,” “Dust and Fire,” “Blue Unicorn”, “Earth’s Daughters”, and elsewhere.  She is actively involved with the Loft Literary Center and its classes, workshops, readings, and events. She was a finalist for the Loft Mentor Series. Her writing group includes the poets: June Blumenson, Shannon King, Sandra Sidman Larson, Mary Junge, and Kate Green.
