Please join local poet Stanley Kusunoki as he reads from his recent poetry release, Natural Life—A Poetic Field Guide.

Kusunoki will be joined by fellow poets, Mary Jo Thompson and Marg Walker.

Stanley Kusunoki is the author of five collections of poetry; 180 Days—Reflections and Observations of a Teacher, Items in the News ; Shelter in Place—Poems in a Time of COVID-19, and Social Studies—Poetry as History, Ethics and Journalism, ; and Natural Life.

Mary Jo Thompson’s poetry collection, Stunt Heart, was selected by Henri Cole for the Backwaters Poetry Prize and published in 2017.

Marg Walker is a lifelong writer who pursues her abiding interest in the human voice through poetry and choral music.
