Eat My Words is thrilled to welcome Minnesota native Beadrin (Pixie) Youngdahl for a reading and book signing of The Timeless Cafe. Set in NE Minneapolis, The Timeless Cafe is a novel about an inner city neighborhood undergoing gentrification. It is meant to honor all the varied types of residents who people such neighborhoods and frequent their small cafes. Without becoming a rant, this story speaks of hypocrisy and misplaced power. It does so with humor and the clear vision of its characters.

About the Author: 

Beadrin (Pixie) Youngdahl is a retired registered nurse, a wife, a mother and a wildly proud grandmother of four. She has published short fiction, poetry, and long form essays. She also recently published a memoir, Arguments and Negotiations, a non-traditional telling of her cancer experience.
