Looking for an inspiring evening? Come hear tales from the high seas from hitchsailor Glenda Reed, who hops on and off sailboats around the world in search of adventure.
Self-described as a sailor, artist, feminist, traveler, wonder-seeker and merry-maker, Reed is currently on the sailing voyage of a lifetime. During the past two years she's crewed from the west coast of Mexico across the great expanse of the Pacific Ocean, around the Australian continent and into Southeast Asia, and recently through the northern Caribbean to New York. These trips led her to sail a number of different types of boats, from 12-foot dinghies to a 100-foot tall ship.
Since Reed began hitchsailing, she's also focused her creative energies on sculpture, performance, videography, photography, and writing. Come hear her stories.
