West Egg Literati is an organization of Hamline University MFA students who want to grow and develop connections within their program and beyond. Their Green Light Reading Series, named after the iconic green light from The Great Gatsby, celebrates their community of writers and readers through monthly themed open mic nights. Come to read or come to listen—all are welcome. Readers with original poetry, fiction, nonfiction related to the theme are encouraged to join. The theme on June 10 will be LANDSCAPES.

Open mic sign-up starts at 6:45 p.m., with the readings beginning at 7:00 p.m. Friends, family and members of the public are welcome to this event!
