Presented by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association (NEMAA), Art-a-Whirl is the largest open studio tour in the country.  As part of the festival, we're delighted to host Jenifer LeClair for a Meet & Greet in which she is available for book signings, conversation, and questions about her writing process. Jenifer LeClair is the author of the Windjammer Mysteries, featuring homicide detective Brie Beaumont. In her award-winning series, LeClair vividly captures Maine’s islands and coastal regions where she has sailed aboard the historic Maine windjammers, traveled, and done research since 1995. LeClair’s acclaimed series has won a host of awards including two Independent Publisher Awards for Best Regional Fiction for the US Northeast. Her fourth and most recent book in the series is Apparation Island, a chilling tale of murder that unfolds during Hurricane Ivan on the Maine coast, sparking a haunting story of two deaths mysteriously bound together by the long reach of time.

The author lives in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota with her family.
