About the Author:

James Rains is an avid storyteller who has been captivating audiences of all ages with his tales for nearly two decades. James has a love of knowledge and holds a bachelor's degree in religion, a master's degree in education, and an education specialist degree. He works in education and spends his free time writing and reading everything in sight while hanging with his wife, Sarah, and his dog, Horace. Afognak is his first novel, inspired by his time working at the Kodiak Police Department and living on Kodiak Island in Alaska.
